C course – English tour guide

 

Tour overview

▪Departure/Arrival JR East Sendai station

All artworks can be covered. Two days course with one night accommodation in Ishinomaki central city area.

1^st day dep from JR East Sendai station to Oshika Peninsula (Ayukawa, Oginohama, Momonoura) in Ishinomaki city.

2^nd day starts from Watanoha, and then to Plena Miyagi, Hiyoriyama Park, Ishinomaki Minamihama Tsunami Memorial Park, Ishinomaki central city area. Back to JR East Sendai station.

▪3 choices available for lunch, Day1 & Day2. Please pick up your choice at the reservation

【Day１】@ Banya (fishermen house) Fujimaru

▪ Conger eel rice bowl

▪ Deep fried oyster set

▪ Sliced raw fish topped rice bowl

 

【Day２】Lunch box from local restaurants in Ishinomaki

▪Japanese beef bowl

▪Grilled silver salmon (sake lees soaked) 

▪Conger eel variety

 

【Notices】

※Free observation at each exhibition area

※Reborn-Art Passport is required in addition to the tour fee

※Please wear a mask and sanitize hands when getting on the bus

※Please refrain from eating/drinking in the bus. Water to avoid dehydration is accepted

※Please bring back your own rubbish

※Please observe the guideline set by the administration office to cope with COVID 19 situation.

※After getting of the bus, walk to the each artwork

※A few artworks require longer distance walk

※Exhibits are mainly displayed in the outdoor fields

※Barrier-free access is not available

※Please manage any food allergy by yourself

(approx. 10 minutes walk from JR East Sendai West Entrance)

【Payment】

Online settlement only

At the initial booking, we require your credit card information. At this stage, your booking is still temporary and no payment is processed.

When conducting the tour is confirmed (when the minimum number of participants reached), e-mail confirmation is sent for the credit card payment process.

 

【Attention】

The tour does not include Reborn-Art Passport. Please purchase the passport separately.

The passport can be used during the entire festival period and photo ID (such as a driver’s license ) is required with the passport

【Cancellation】

※Confirmed tour can be available for booking until 4 days before the departure date.

※The tour confirmation is decided by 21 days before the departure date. When the minimum number of participants is not reached, the tour will not be conducted.

※After the tour is confirmed, cancellation charge below per person is applied on the cancellation on your accord

20-8 days             20% of the tour fee

7-3 days               30% of the tour fee

2 days                  50% of the tour fee

1 day                    80% of the tour fee

Dep day               100% of the tour fee

 

Reservation is closed on 21 days before the departure date. When conducting the tour is confirmed (when the minimum number of participants reached), it will be open until 4 days before the departure date for the additional booking.

 

【Cancellation due to a weather condition】

The tour will be cancelled when the Reborn-Art Festival Administration Office decides the cancellation of the festival.

E-mail notice on such cancellation will be sent by one day before the departure date.

 

【Recommended items to prepare】

▪Soft drinks/water to prevent dehydration

▪Comfortable attire and shoes (e.g. trekking shoes) for walking/moving. No heel, no sandal

▪Parasol/sunshade

▪Sunscreen cream
